Subes for life!

My first VL meetup, at the old Squaw Valley (now called Palisades Tahoe). This pic is from the camping area, facing the resort and the festival, pretty epic clouds over the weekend.

There were probably about 300 rigs there, total. Vans, camper trucks, converted ambulance, regular RVs, and then one dorky guy from Idaho who showed up in his Outback. Of the several hundred attendees, there was exactly one other dude (Hi, John!) excited to see a Subaru, since he was on the home stretch of converting his Forester into a weekend warrior glamping dream machine.

Good music, good food, really friendly people, and even a ginormous bear ambling through the meadow behind us on Sunday. Good times!
